One Kool Kustom, seems like forever this one has been shown to the world. Thanks for pic's of update.
I will never understand why people let cars that have had so much time and money put into them rot away outside. instead of just selling them while they are still nice and worth something.
Lanny told me once the junkyard owner caught a hobo living in the car. If I were a hobo I'd pick a chopped chevy too.
My thoughts exactly...I just don’t get it. 50’s money 80’s money or 2018 $money$ ;;it’s all relative. The planning, time, effort, $$$, sacrifice that it takes—-then let it rot!!! I just don’t get it, please explain it to me.[emoji631] Sent from my iPad using H.A.M.B.
I don't get it either but we're only seeing how we see it at this point in time. You just don't know what was happening in their lives at that time ....
Usually they were sold when nice and the next owner that wasn't involved with any of the custom work would let the car rot. Just like a drag cars of the era, a couple years in the limelight then its obsolete and outdated and its either keep modifying or sell the car and start again.
Well I asked and @TomT and Taboo56Chevy brought some valid points, that I wasn’t considering. That being said, it confirms a thought, there are Car owners and Car Caretaker’s. Caretakers are more interested in preservation and Owner’s are interested in the novelty until something else comes along to catch they’re interest. Nothing wrong with being either, it all contributes to the hobby. Make sense? [emoji41][emoji631]
Very tasteful mods, stands the test of time. Cant wait to see this with paint, going back to the violet fantasy paint job?
Tri-fives usually don't lend themselves to decent chops but this one looks great. What is the back window from? Sent from my E6810 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
