finally got my Girl on the road, no show car, just a traditional Post War Hot Rod that I love to bits. Still more to do but want to enjoy it this summer.
Looks good man...like the color. Familiar area in those pics. From around the corner in Whittier Sent from my SM-G900V using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Nice looking roadster! Just about getting to the point where I need to start thinking about getting my paperwork done so I can get mine on the road too!
You will get there, I am still doing stuff to mine but at least i can drive it now. Keep fired up mate.
yeah I am in the same street as Limeworks Steve, we live 7 doors apart but, he is moving to hawaii soon.
Thank you, I used Factory Colors, no show pony and my flatty is slow and tappets rattle but just want to drive it this year and do more as and when I have the greenbacks but it has the look I have been working on for a long time.
I love the Roadster and will be doing more, wanted to create a Post war machine and it sure looks like it, drives like it too. LOL!
Interior is just black and needs work but hope to one day get OXBLOOD leather tuck n Roll, one day though.
I still need to do a few more things, fit a spoon to the Gennie Grill shell, also I hope to change the front headlamops but not sure what yet, thinking 35 Commercial lights. Hope to louvre Hood and I have made some rear tail lights for later, I used 1948 Chevy Body and got Original 1949 Kaiser Glass lenses and hand shaved them with wet n dry to fit, they will look so period later, I have an unualual license plate frame to fit that has a top insert, but still looking for the embossed topper for it, so stay tuned, but like a 97 carb. LOL.
