The Road through your Windshield...

Out on a road trip

 

Great photo, but to be honest your avatar almost made me lose my breakfast.

 

I-10 just about 40 miles East of Indio, California.... This truck was just cruising at 75 MPH in the desert . Sorry for the smudge on one of the pictures but a bug met his maker.

 

This was in our mirror, when we p***ed it had a noticeable exhaust note.

What's in a Name...

Funny thing happened the other day when I snapped this..A fella pulled over concerned I had broken down...
It felt a little kooky saying I was doing a photo op with the sign...
I thanked him and at the cruise the other night I bumped into him again he actually has a Hotrod 29 Tudor
He actually didn't even get the sign connection at the time but I explained at the show and we had a chuckle over it...Theres even a Road up here called Deuces Lane...

I meet 1000 people per month...or so it seems. I kept meeting a certain European guy in my area, even at the last cruise night, but never at the University Of Connecticut campus. I met him again at the local dam on Fathers Day, and he had his youngest with him a 15 year old daughter...he then gave me his contact info and I later arranged a visit to his rented home which is available to visiting professors...he is one, at the University of Innsbruck, in Austria. He is a car guy, too. One pic here is taking pics of my dashboard. lol

Here we are on his homes dirt road, right in campus, that very few people even know about! I was last here 15 years ago.

and where we ended up...at "The Hill"...to meet up with tons of people on the summer solstice eve...lots were there to photograph the wild skies we've had for a few evenings..

 

I'm lucky, I live on old US Rt66. I try to drive one of my old jalopies on it every day.

Did the labor day bridge walk decades ago. Creepy walking on the snow grates and looking down.

 

My grandfather. Did it almost every year till he past then we dumped his ashes through the grates a couple years ago I dont see the problem walkung over the grates just dont drip nothing hahahaha
