That pipe is going to take a lot of sanding before chrome. You are a glutton for punishment.

Started working on a front motor mount , I had a chunk of angle iron laying in the metal pile so I did some cutting and grinding. This is what I came up with. IMG_2943.JPG IMG_2944.JPG IMG_2945.JPG

No I cant use that because I have to run the 57-9 car water pump (to lower the fan)and it takes up the same space as the motor mount. I have rubber biscuits that will be used. They are the same ones that I am using on the bell housing mount.

Did your water pump pieces arrive and solve the problem?

Yes,I got a pump, lowered housing, generator mount front motor plate, timing cover and water pump pulley. Still need to get crank pulley but have found one from a guy in Canada. Where does a guy get gaskets and crank timing cover seal? Bernbaums?

Last time I looked, Rock Auto had most everything for the flathead Mopars.

  11. Nothing cookie cutter about this build. Your attention to detail is evident everywhere , this is a great build to follow!

I have no idea but it must not work because it was unhooked and had an electric pump plumbed in when it was still in the cube van.

If you decide to go back to mechanical, avoid Airtex if you can. Their fulcrum pins like to walk out. You are better off rebuilding that one then getting theirs. Now and Then has kits for most Mopar stuff.

I'll have to think about that one. I'm wondering how the ole girl is going to sound thru a 3" straight pipe.:)
