What...... I was not going to get into this mess that's starting up here but I'm hoping someone is just joking around ...but if the Ford pic and the 55 Chev pic are supposed to be early pictures ....wow.....where do you even start....look at the wheels tires...other equipment on the cars including advertising...background vehicles and and..........wow....ok ... maybe I'm just reading something wrong or just not under standing something....but I do know that Im not blind.....

Now this is a picture of a 55 Chevy from 1955.....no...it's a picture of a picture of a 55 Chevy from 1955 taken now of a book from 55 that is in front of me live.....where does it end....it should of not even started...and I'm sorry for this to bit ....but it is pretty much all out there in the beginning explaining what you should know and understand so much so I was scared to post at first that's why I was kind of asking if my stuff was ok ...must be I didn't get told to get the F:"*---* out ......yet..... probably will now though....sorry...and I just found some more cool pictures.... hopefully this can get going again ..... maybe just some good posting of what is ask of and maybe some thinking and looking at what it being posted other than just grabbing picture's on line that kind of sort of almost not even sometimes are maybe close to what is being ask to post....bottom line ...read ,think, have a clue, common sense is easy and good to have ...and have some history info on the subject s in question...and the hobby that we are in and do it for the love of the hobby and not just to get points or whatever....ok back to the show...

No..Not joking ... LB says it doesn't matter ..Modern wheels not available till the 70's , fake spindle mounts, not sold until , what, 2008? It's all okay..as long as it's 66 or older car...
Let me see...here's one from 1964:

 

That Bridenthal Falcon still exists,but it’s been caged and cut up a bit.
A guy who’s Dad used to own the Ohio George 33 Willys has it,and apparently has sort of a performance school for young people set up around prepping and driving the car.
Pretty neat concept.

And that “Mr Ford’s Aggravation” Mustang is a cool one...That shot is from Detroit Dragway....my girlfriend’s older sister worked there when I was in high school.Such a cool track,and a big chunk of drag racing history.

Love this one from LB's thread. About a 1985 exhibition car, wheels and all.

 

I'm not taking sides, just want to avoid a pissing contest. Let the moderators do their job. this way is not productive.

been written so often through various threads "If you don't like what you see stay the hell out
of the thread." Mark Yac, you're not adding anything to this thread other than your moaning

No, it really isn't necessary but there's always at least one person who has something to prove.
I hope we can continue with this thread and not have it closed down because of Mark Yac's
complaining. Even if it means I can't contribute non-vintage photos.

Loudbang, let the negativity roll off your back. You add to the H.A.M.B., not detract from

Thanks for the input Quick85. I just was upset that it seemed personal and there is no good reason for that. We are all in the same boat, sometimes we all screw up but its not the end of the world.
