  14. When I was 19 I had just finished building my first car ( showed it at the 1980 World of Wheels "AAA" show) it was sitting in the driveway and when I looked out the window my Dad an brother were talking to some guys I didn't know and one of them (200+lbs)was leaning on my car, keep in mind I was about 125 lbs at the time, and a little shy, but walked up to the big guy and and said " nice car is it yours?" and of course he said no, so I said " your right it's mine and you need to get your ass off of it!" well the guy looked real surprised and look around at the others and my Dad said "well you heard the "man" so you might want to move" and looking like he just got slapped proceeded to step about 10 feet away from it. That was the first time I stood up to somebody and the first time my Dad called me a man. I miss him a lot.
