Maybe in another week I will change the oil & retorque the heads. Too busy driving & enjoying the sound of the twin Brockman SS pack mufflers. Don't even bother to ask the cost cause I threw all the receipts in the bottom dresser drawer with my old socks. Ha Ha . I am probably still not done. Visions of twin carbs keep dancing in my head. From the image of me & Ben D from T& A transport pushing this old Gibbons bodied 34 roadster into my garage & 4 yrs later me justa ****tn & a grinnin. The roadster is still in gel coat was stored in a Quonset building from the 80s' or 90s'. I tried Kyle @ Gibbons & his dad Dwight Bond neither could or wanted to give me any info on this body with a ser # of 1508. The ch***is is all stock 34 Ford with 6V & mechanical brakes. I have rebuilt most of the undercarriage & sandblasted & painted the Kelsey Hayes 40 spoke wires with 6:50X16 Firestone tires & tubes all balanced with dyna-beads. The gas tank has been cleaned & recoated with an Eastwood kit, tail lights have shorty stands & halogen bulbs. I also have a third brake light on the rear deck from a GM blazer, Swan neck mirrors are mounted on both sides under the cowl lights. I made the glove box & door & the gauge panel & restored the 40 steering wheel. Insulated the interior with heat shield tape & jute insulation. Made the carpet from Lowes Marine grade indoor/outdoor carpet. I bought & installed a folding top. A friend painted it with single stage urethane from Carquest. Custom mixed from a very old paint chart they have. The grille was rechromed & Speedway bumpers were purchased. Headlights are BLC w/halogen 6V sealed beam bulbs.
