The Superior Pontiac Tempest is the only Super Duty Tempest still missing. I personally think it on a farm in south Texas of the person that bought it off the Superior Pontiac used car lot in late 60's

Is that the Ol Whine Maker at Detroit in the pic above?
Looking again, I see the wheelbase extended a tad to the rear. Whose car is/was it?

Now where are the Wally Booth pics? Anyone up for a Rebel Machine?

**Edit** -- Actually, I was just goofin' with the Rebel Machine comment.
I realize it doesn't fit in anymore than a '70 Chevelle LS6 or other badass
cars of that era. I don't need to see them on the H.A.M.B.

Yeah, that might be a bit too far afield, but I'd like to see it also.

Yep, funny cars match raced too. Think Jungle, the Ace, Snake & Mongoose, Chi-Town Hustler,
Fontanini & Naninni (Chicago area racers) and so many others. But there's the problem of
    upsetting more HAMBERs and moderators.

When it comes to race cars,Ryan and the Mods are pretty cool about the cutoff year,as long as it’s a historic race car in the photo, and not just some O/T thing. He’ll even go so far as to allow Mustang race cars,as they have some pretty heavy historical significance, even though VW’s and Mustangs are normally banned from the H.A.M.B.
I’ve got no complaints in that department....once you start to relax the rules too much, you lose what drew everyone to the site in the first place, and next thing you know, half the pictures in here will be of cars with pro-stock Aero scoops and Weld draglite wheels.
    It’s a slippery slope.

I have a lot of books and magazines that I have been flipping through that are full of old long nose and short nose, flipper and flopper body's that became the start of the" Funny Car's "..... The spread is mid 60's to 69 in my collection... I would have no problem posting them ....but always see "No Funny Car's " so I respect the call and just keep them to myself...They are wild and so cool.....

Ya ..most of the time you can just kind of take it easy and glide through the slippery spots on your own merit that you gain by respecting the tread requests and enjoy them and keep them moving along with fresh content, myself I like to maybe through a joke that I have spotted in a o!d hot rod magazine that is on a subject of the thread and move on just to have a bit of humor in the set.or maybe some short little side bar note or info that you not normal see in a picture segment of off the computer if that's where's you are getting your pictures to post..just to see long ass picture runs specially if they are doing it just to gain points and not have any appreciation for the subject...but every one has a opinion and a right to use it and no mater how carefully you work at the slippery spots some people just think they need to kick you so that you fall right in....well kick all you want because I have enjoyed the hot rod / custom hobby that has been most of my 57 years of life to date and I will just get right back up and move along .....

Better yet, just ignore/block him like I did and you won't have to see any of his posts. He can keep posting his negativity and the only one that will see it is him! It would really take the wind out of his grumpy sails if no one is able to see his posts.

That Thunderbolt has to be super early in the year.
That clover leaf style hood disappeared real early.
