Its been quite a journey. I can hardly believe this is the same weld splattered, miss aligned hunk of rust.
I know you have learned a lot about metal shaping, your next build should be easer anyway.

Big day. Thanks to dave and ray Prue for paint and help with bodywork. Dave did an incredible job laying the paint.

The quality work they did goes hand in hand with the great fabrication work you did, it deserved nothing less than it got!:D

  15. Nice to see "New Patina" for a change. Nice choice of color also.

  16. Love seeing it in color. It has been an amazing build so far. I kind of hate to see it winding down. (You presumably do not feel the same way.) What’s next?

He loves it. Few more weeks up here then it goes home. To get wired. He might need some help on that end.

I got a model t roadster project now for the winter and i want to get deeper into improving my metalshaping. Building a big power hammer next.

Thanks for following and the comments and support along the way!

Paint turned out great, it really shows what a great job you did. I don't know how you are going to improve on your metal work, I wish I was 1/2 that good.

  20. I’d think it might be hard to see this leave after so much effort. Glad you have another project. I hope you intend to do a build thread on it, too.

We tried atleast 6-7 spray outs and ran all over the map with color. It was gonna be white, red, green, orange....and then I found this color and he agreed.

image.jpg I just found this thread today and I am very impressed. I am rebuilding a 1920 Model A Cabriolet and building the panels for a 30 Model A 3 Window for someone else that will be all new from the cowl back, so this thread fills in a lot gaps, especially in regards to the roof and door construction.

Smoooth! Really nice work. Already an inspiration, even without the powerplant.
