The kit was missing the dashboard and steering column,so I made a dash out of .80 styrene and a column from brass tubing.The column connects to the Tie rod so the steering wheel turns when you move the front wheels left and right.
.....a day late.....but I finally got the trim removed from around the gas door on the 50 Bel Air. And I also found a friend for Charlotte.
Is Danbury mint doing the cars again? I got an advertisement for the '65,6 Shelby Mustang today in the mail. I have some of their cars from when they last did them.
Found this First Gear truck a few years ago at a flea market. I built a box for it and made it look similar to a COE truck my Dad drove many years ago for our Uncle at a Family owned Furniture store. That is also where he met our Mother when she worked there. My Son-in-law used a picture I showed him and created some nice graphic decals allowing me to finish the truck the way I wanted it.
