Here's a friend's car that has long since become a stalled project. I am intrigued by it because it is well done but the vision has been lost. IMHO the problem is the extended cab which makes it too much like a box. Could you do a picture of it as it is in bright yellow like the original idea? Other ideas come to mind also. How about a T stretch limo sedan, or roadster pickup, maybe Munster coach?

 

How about a cool camper....I'm ready to go cross country!!!

I could see that done as a wood (veneered) version as well as stainless skin (with an engine turned panel insert) version. Unique idea.

 

Something a bit different...Here's a version with both wood and engine turned insert..

 

I wonder what it'd look like if you extended the sleeper box up to meet the cowl and eliminated the cab section all together

I’m looking for some help with door lettering for my 36 Ford pu. I’d like to put Acme packing co. Green Bay wisc. The Greenbay Wisc I would like in a cursive style. Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply. I’m thinking that acme would be the larger lettering. Either top or middle with the greenbay in smaller font on the bottom. The lettering I plan on doing in a distressed white. The font style is perfect. Thanks

Even as it lays there dying it still has potential.

 

+1. I think the proportion and look of suicide door sedans can't be beat! Some cars look good as 2 doors, but it has never been an automatic reaction from me, "ooh! 2 door hardtop, wow!"

 

I'm getting to the point where I can think about paint on my truck. To make it simple, it's originally gray (Yukon Gray is the official name), with white around the grille openings and along the front edges of the, body colored bumper; I'd like to see the cab with black fenders, and possible other 2-tone black over gray suggestions. Mild or wild.

 

I was experimenting with scallops, but I'm not as hardcore for them now. I'm on the fence. Possibly, just doing the fender black, along just the curve of the fender, but painting continuing the black into the lower body flare into the door highlighting it. The bed is going, I don't know where I'm going to go with the rear of the truck yet though.
