Help me out with identifying those hubcaps?

Can't quite recognize the crest. Buick?

My glasses are 3 years out of date - cut me some slack. - :)

That was going to be my second guess, but I didn't want to be wrong twice in a post.

Nice to know I WAS thinking in the correct direction.

    Thanks!

  19. Wow, a LOT going on with this one.

Seems to be a '52-'54 Ford. '56 Chevy trim? The body appears to be built up where the trim is, gives a unique look.

My first impression was 55-56 Dodge. Maybe the bumper and shape of the front of the hood fooled me. Looking at the windshield, I can possibly see 52-54 Ford. So who can fill in the details?

Actually, your Buick guess was pretty darn close. IMO, you still get an "A".

My favorite Sombrero. Unfortunately, too deep-centered for most vintage wheels!
(Buick rims were used on Ford/other centers on the rear of a million hot rods, and countless customs with "chrome reversed" wheels.)

    Babalu!

I agree I'd like to see a lot more pics. The wheel covers got my attention.

It also looks like he grabbed the Merc hood nose, to go with the grille shell.

  28. Could stand to have a little less going on IMO. Without the lake pipes and the cheesy flames on the skirts it would be a slick car.

StrayKat, I zoomed in on the caps, they appear to be 1954 Plymouth with a center cap from a 74-76 Lincoln dished aluminum wheel attached to it.
