    That is Toby Halicki's '56 Buick coupe. A really sharp car! Those scallops were TERRIFIC.

    The same car eventually was customized with a simpler candy paint job, quad headlights, and a '57 Desoto bumper. As you can see it was a real trophy catcher.

    You might remember Toby Halicki as the guy that made the original Gone in 60 Seconds... ;)

    Crazy how much flake is on his fleetline. The cameras never really pick it up well, but when the light from the sun hits it just right the thing lights up.

    Jan and I are leaving at 5:00 tomorrow morning and heading to Michigan to pick up our "Project" '55 Mercury. We should be loaded by Noon Monday and if all goes well we will be back to the house between Midnite and 2:00am Tuesday. Old Truckers never die, they just get a new Peterbilt!!

    One of the only photos i have ever seen of this 57, it doesn't seem to be any others of it in circulation at present. Would like to see more photos if they exist and learn any history on it.
