Cool little build man. That's what i love about our A coupes, there are just so many ways you can put one together. One of the best things about your car besides all the work you've done... it's a Canadian body! :D ha ha just kidding. Nice work!

  2. Not familiar with the name Trojan either. Their dual manifold looks good.

  3. I have had a Trojan dual updraft for years (50+) but have never run it. I have never seen a Trojan head and would have probably noticed and tried to buy it if I had.

Good looking coupe. I wish mine was a 29. I prefer the earlier cowl but this one will do.
Hahaha, thanks. What's funny about it is the square drive fastener difference to hold the body structure together and in the doors. Other than that it appears the same.
It is a neat little intake and I like that it's cast iron to keep the fuel hot.
Cool stuff, Charlie. I've only seen about 5 of them on the internet since I started doing this stuff. I do wonder if there are any heads out there??
    Thank you!

    Thank you!

    Thank you!

Got about 60 miles on her getting to know how it feels on our crappy roads. Can't wait to put some shocks on it.

Sitting proud yesterday while taking my wife out for her first spin.

This morning I drilled some more holes in the insert muffler I built and wrapped it in muffler packing material to knock some hair off of it during acceleration and cut some drone. I don't mind a little bit of noise but it's much more comfortable. Now to go over everything and prep for sins of steel!

I've been a bit more active on Instagtam so many may have seen my updates or pics throughout the summer. I've done a few small things to the car over the past few months but from the most part I've been driving the hell out of it unless the weather was bad...

I made it to Sins of Steel with my friends and parked next to my old T.

After Sins I installed a black vinyl interior

Did an old timey steering wheel wrap for a little detail.

Decided to add cutout hood sides with a mesh cover.

The hood has been of and on due to chasing a few bugs but the car has ran great with no major problems and I'm just over 1000 miles hitting anywhere that sounds fun.

Finally this past weekend I was honored and humbled to win an award from Dead Last CC for outstanding club pic.

Not a bad summer so far at all!

Thanks, Stogy. This little project has done wonders to get me out and about again. It's hard to imagine where I would be without it.

Congrats on the award too...funny I got one the other day and it made me think of those old pics back in the day with all the trophies in front of the Hotrod...its just a acknowledgement to the one who built the ride that their vision stood out and in your case that would be you...;)

I have been following along on Instagram too. Looks like you are having a Blast with your car. The traditional hot rod world needs more bangers!!

  20. Car looks great. Just right - not so nice you’ll ever be afraid to drive it. I’ve known too many guys who put so much in that they won’t drive them for fear of breakage or damage. Love yours!

Congrats to you too. It was the first award I won ever! As reclusive as I am it's nice to see people digging my ideas. I just kind of throw work at it and build what feels right....
MORE Bangers! I've seen less than 10 all summer...
    Thank you!
Thanks. Even if I made it all pretty I'd still drive it! Almost every time I go somewhere someone says they saw me driving down so and so road....
