Any companies besides H&H selling rebuilt 59AB type engines. In particular, those with a warranty of sorts that a shop could purchase for installation in a customers' car/truck. Thanks

Thanks to 5150, that is a great tip and will look into it on Monday. Not sure what the other post meant or why it was necessary.
Looking at their site they also have a good selection of; Merc, 21, 24, and '49-'51 engines as well as 292 Y blocks.
Over on the Fordbarn in the V8 forum section is a guy named GOSFAST. He does a bunch of stuff with rebuilding flatheads for a living. I got my valve guides, springs, and shims from him. A very good guy to know for flathead stuff and very helpful. He is in New York and would be a very good guy to talk to.
When you decide where to go be sure to check them out in the archives, even if someone posts recommending them. Charlie Stephens
Thanks again for the tips, this site is great. Thanks Charlie, a good reminder of a lesson I had learned the hard way.
Jasper Engines sells flatties. Short and long blocks. They have a display here at Shades of the Past.
Oh, no matter who you pick to build it have them do the break in run BEFORE you accept it! A lesson I learned the hard way!
Not sure but I believe they used to be located in NY, Ballston Lake IIRC. You might find some local info about them in your neck of the woods.
