If this isn’t allowed then the admins can delete it, I don’t have no problems with that, BUT

I’m trying to find or gather information about my grandfathers 1937 Chevy called “The Dandy Lion” he raced back it in the day, it had a 426 hemi and a mural on the back that was of a lion with exhaust headers and a top hat, it ran in Martin Michigan at US 131, here are the pictures [IMG]

it's still around. I see it every year at the NSRA Nat's North in Kalamazoo.

Still painted in the fade. I don't think there is a name on it anymore.

Haha yeah! I’ve found a few videos of the car from about a year ago, it’s crazy!

  8. Why would a car, named "Dandy Lion", have a tiger painted on it????? Just random curiosity, I suppose.

  9. Picture looks like a lion to me.

If Memory serves right that car showed up in race coverage photos in Hot Rod or National
Dragster a lot back in that time period. It helps when you are searching for a well known car from a time frame.

Super cool that it's still around!
Now you can buy it and change the tail lights back.

Good Luck. I found my 62 Corvette that I restored (to hot rod) after 33 years it did my heart good. Really cool car. I hope my grandson will want to see my old cars some day.
