Hot Rods Tuscany

I am on vacation in Tuscany, any hot rod events or sites here. We will be traveling to Rome on Friday. I googled it with out much luck. I’ve been here a week and traveled all over but so far not so much as a sighting. Thanks

That is not surprising.

 

There used to be a guy on here called Bonez, who is in that area IIRC. Haven't heard anything from him in a long time.

I was there about this time 2 years ago. We got detoured north of Sienna down a dirt road. When we finally reached the main road again it was blocked off for a vintage car race. I watched the racers go by for an hour, then they all dove back to the starting line. It was a great unexpected event.

 

Premier event in Europe this week is the Circuit de Ramparts in Angouleme. Long way from Rome though...

Paddlin' upstream, so much to see there. There are crafters and car folks. Sometimes the only clue is an old 'filling station' type of garage.
