Nope ... That's a circa 1956 photo of 354ci HEMIs being prepared for Carl Kiekhaefer's '56 Chrysler 300-B NASCAR team.

 

Our chopped & channeled '32 Ford 5wd Coupe has had a HEMI in it since 1954-55:

The "HEMI32" engine circa 1958
The 1953 (331ci) Chrysler HEMI (with four Stromberg 97s on a CRAGAR intake and some chrome engine "dress-up" accessories


The "HEMI32" engine circa 1975
The 1958 Chrysler Imperial 392ci HEMI [A-1 block, .060 Overbore (404.5ci), interior deburred and painted, oil galleys opened up, 10 qt. "DONZ" (Don Stortroen) oil pan, Milodon oil pump, polished rods, TRW 10.5:1 forged pistons, Federal Mogul bearings, Perfect Circle chrome rings, balanced by Ashland, Racer Brown cam (286 degree duration, 0.485 lift)] ... four Stromberg 97's on polished CRAGAR intake manifold ... custom Sanderson headers ... '69 Dodge HEMI Torque-flite (with B&M manual shift valve body) ... polished aluminum firewall ... etc.

History lesson-

 

I have one 50s Chrysler Hemi valve cover hanging on my shop wall, does that qualify me as a Hemi owner? I think I have a die cast Hemi motor model kit in my closet as well...
I have pictures of my son's Hemi in the 54 Chrysler he had a few years ago. I'd have to take pictures of the wall art and the model though. Gene
