Once again, Jnaki shows an amazing example of his knowledge with both words and pictures. I have no idea how he manages his vast picture archives, days, dates, cars, and his memory. Its absolutely amazing and as an old guy, I am so appreciative of his posts. a hearty thank you to him.

    Hey S,
Thank you very much...That is the nicest thing I have heard in a long time. Yes, we are all getting older and probably fading fast, but to keep those memories going keeps the BIG "Alz" away and keeps me young. (Besides being with our grand daughter and her latest escapades) I do have a small stash of photos from back in the days, but I like researching things. It reminds me of our (girlfriend/wife) extended times in the "stacks" at the UCLA library between 12-5 a.m. during our college days.
(it was the only place that stayed open at those late/early hours, plus we were crazy college kids)

I have been around for a long time, mostly in So Cal. Culver City is not that far away from the Westside of Long Beach. (Plus there was a fabulous alignment shop near Sepulveda and Washington for our 58 Impala.) It was fun to see where the big names came from, other than in our neighborhood. We were used to having the BIG NAMES in Long Beach (Thompson, Mailliard, Reath, Clay Smith, etc.), so visiting other places was a big kick.

But, there are a ton of things to do and see in our travels, too. It is fun reading hot rod history from other places in the USA. It is all over the place, while not just copying and pasting old photos. Thanks for your support. I will keep posting/writing, until I can't... sooner or later.
