Been a fantastic day at the swap meet.
Wish more people wanted what I don’t though ![emoji23]
Sold a few things, and got a line on something I have been looking for.
All while hanging out with some good friends I don’t see enough of.

great day at the swap meet. back seat and trunk full in the 59 bel air!

 

I think I have photos somewhere that I took of that little Red Sedan on the trailer back in the late 70's.
Looks like good meet but I am short on spending money after buying a new toy a couple of weeks ago and have to sell a couple of old toys to recover.
I didn't do too bad at home, sold what was left of a Model TT cab today and stripped the pieces I want off the 52 F 1 chassis I bought a while back so I will have them for my Model A. 9 more rivets out of the crossmember and the frame and axles go up for sale.

 

Had a great time, picked up some cool stuff. But was confused by a freakish glowing orb in the sky. What was that thing?

Found this Yankee turn signal hidden in a low-buck box of rusty bolts and brackets.
That was worth the price of admission. (Oh, wait, it's free...)

pretty good turn out this time,
of course the great weather helped
but I think also ebay and paypal fees may be giving swap meets the boost they need.

I bought a few little things
one was this nifty old chrome J2 intake
that may or may not go on the old '58

 

It’s a clean old original. Has some rust, like they all do but runs like a top. I don’t think I could get my 55 project up to snuff where with this one is for the price difference. Time to liquidate a couple projects and strt with a clean runner/driver.

Here is the other stuff I bought. All before the impulse truck purchase haha! The whitewalls were dirt cheap and cleaned up well. Will end up on the new 53 for the time being. I even have a whole set of old green paint 16” Ford wheels

It was one of the best swap meets I've been to in awhile. Got some things I'd been hunting for. Spent way to much money.
