I found this on the vintage shots thread. Does anyone know any info about where & who it is? I tried to magnify the tags on front bumper but couldn't read them. Apparently LE of some type but I don't recollect seeing that 'fleet unique' color combo before.

That's a pretty interesting color combo.

That is a nice fleet. My guess is that it is a campus security unit by the setting. There are no markings on the cars and the officers aren't wearing weapons. Most LE fleets didn't use the top-line cars, either.

I wonder if the interior color combination was just as weird.

I like the color combo on this '52. Very typical of the pastels available in the mid 50s. classy52.jpg

Back in NASCAR's glory days, I think this was the Holman/Moody shop, prepping '56 Fords for Curtis Turner and Fireball Roberts.

I do believe that is a drive in I went to in the 60's. If the pic was taken from further back I would know for sure. I'm not sure if Richards was a chain or just a one off, but I think that is in Cambridge, Mass. next to the Charles river. I can't remember which road was on the Cambridge side, but it's either Storrow Drive or Memorial Dr. The other side of the Charles being the Boston side. A forum friend's ( on the '57 site ) wife worked there as a car hop during the years I visited.....lol, maybe that's her in the pic. I passed it nightly when I was going to (Ben)Franklin Intitute of Technology in Boston.
If that is in fact the Richard's I know, that building next to it was IBM, and I think where the first main-frame computer was built covering two city blocks!!
