It's spelled out right here Mrs Smith, your insurance coverage does not include hot rods.

My guess would be Iso Griffo or Bizzarrini.

The first attached photo shows Johnny Capels in the Al Unser Chevy at Terre Haute; probably in 1968. This is the former ECCA sprint car that several drivers found success driving. I believe the car today is in the Unser museum.

The other is a great photo of Tony Bettenhausen alongside the Novi at Indy in 1957. Jean Marcenac is in the ****pit to warm up the engine while Radio Gardner waits with the starter.

    Thanks, Rootie!

  18. Seems he had both, plus a few more exotics.
The Iso Grifo reached close to 2 million euro at auction earlier this year. Was,nt enough to change owners.

  24. The car is a 1903 Panhard et Lev***or which belongs to the British National Motor Museum as far as I know. This shot was taken in 1965. It is a regular compe***or in the annual London-Brighton veteran car run. E0XAJ2.jpg

Where is this Olio? Looks like you have family back in Iowa, or at least used to. Great pic - love 'em.

Looks like "kit cars" used to include quite a bit more.
