  2. Hey Bgaro

I have to say...this is gonna be one of coolest cars around when you get it done...it appears to be a low buck deal compared to some of the stuff I have read about on here...I love the traditional stuff a lot but for a guy on a budget I can only dream about it...you make it an affordable dream again.

    Thanks for sharing on here.

Looks great so far. I'm anxious to see how you complete the front of the car. Lots of choices.

Love it! Where there's a will there's a way in and out. Maybe you just put it on and take it off.

Anyone should be able to build a car for $3-5k and you dont need all the doe at once. It took me about a year and a half just collecting parts. Scrounging is less expencive than opening a catalog. It helps to have a good network of fellow junkers around too.

The network is magic! I bought junk yesterday, and sold junk today. Out with the old, in with the new! Parts is parts. Lookin’ schweeeeeeeet!

  20. Oh man...I shouldn't be looking at this thread. Last thing I need is another project but I have an oval window VW body, a 40 chevy car hood, 301 chevy motor.....oh man.
Update: It's cool...my brother bought the VW...turned out to be a 1953 bug

Yeah, that's better. Track noses have become sort of tiresome to me. The salt style makes it more of an individual.
So, Madfish, how putting about the salt nose on it using the 40 hood.
