Folks Of Interest Bruce Conover Customs

Anyone know of Bruce Conover? He's been building custom cars for years. He's from NJ, PA, VA, MD area. I've known of him since 2004 and he lives a few miles down the road from me. I finally met him last year while stopping at one of his yard sales. I stopped by his place this morning and he took me on a tour of his car collection. Some shots are from magazine cars that he built. A few are not HAMB friendly so I will not post them.

Custom 60 Chevy, 348 with 4-2's. He bought this for $35 back in the day before customizing it.

So the Nash was deleted that had the temp roller aluminum wheel on it. Lol ‍smh.

 

Here are some pic`s of Golden Memories from about 95 taken from custom show in Iowa. The Blue Ford coupe is in the cl***ifieds on the HAMB now. Thanks for showing the pictures.

He replaced the firewall in my '40 Coupe years ago. He was in PA at the time.

I knew Bruce back in the early 90's when he was in Easton Pa. He built my 54 Chevy Belair, the pink one in the Custom Rodder pictorial. I had the car for a few years until; I lost it in a bad divorce. I posted on a this thread

I lost touch with Bruce after my divorce... tried to locate him via the internet but never found anything til now!!

Bruce looks like a cool guy. Would enjoy meeting him sometime. Like the checkered flag table also.

 

It's great that there are still custom car builders out there.

But the group is getting smaller.

 

That '60 El Camino is spot on. Very cool stuff!
