  4. Hey Ron, is that little yellow panel truck plastic? I have one plus a '52 or '53 Ford. They were made by Varney back in the 50s. They were molded in clear plastic and cost 10 cents each. You had to paint the body color and trim while leaving the "glass" areas clear. I had a bunch of them but these are the only 2 that survived.

I voted by mail on Friday. I love it. No driving to a polling place, no standing in line. Just vote at home in your spare time. LOL

Is it Tuesday? No. Am I posting anyway? Yes.

Here's a 1929 Ford A Pickup I just made into a USB flash drive. It's available for your Xmas stocking. PM me if interested.

Wow... I was just sitting at my desk looking at some things I bought while in town earlier and at the same time checking out the H.A.M.B and up pops your post on the little Model A truck USB flash drive....witch I think are so cool, and now that I know what they are used for after you explained it to me , and at the same time pulling one of today's purchase's from the bag.... and it just happened to be a.....Hot Wheels green Ford Model A pu....of course I will be making some modifications to mine also , no USB stuff, different tires and wheels , paint job maybe more....some day I need to get a computer just so I can have you build me one or more of your flash drives...then the hard part will be trying to decide what car or car's to use.. I have 1000 + in my collection.... IMG_20181110_211429.jpeg

  8. Wojojo, yes the little yellow panel is plastic. Thanks for the story behind it. Here's a few photos of the Mazmanian Vette. RON... 20181113_112438.jpeg 20181113_112546.jpeg 20181113_112656.jpeg 20181113_112915.jpeg 20181113_112956.jpeg

The Mazmanian Vette is a cool one.... I have a 1/18 scale one in my collection....it's my favorite out of all that I have.... I have a 1/18 57 Vette tucked in behind the Studebaker waiting it's return to the Desk Top Shop I started it years back starting with a stocker installed a frame clip with straight axle from a two lane black top 55 Chevy ...then started installing a 427 Chev with supercharger and 4-spd. then discovered a problem....the hood wouldn't close...what to do?.... I really wanted the supercharger.... could take a hole saw and put some holes all around it so the driver could see threw it.......or could cut a big hole in the middle and be able to shut hood and keep the supercharger........
Well didn't do anything but put it to the back of the shop.....
Must of been how the saying "Driving fast with the hood up"got it's just start....it was a Hot Rodder that installed a blower and wanted to not cut a hole in his hood.....
Wow I get to involved in these things.... IMG_20181113_171545_1.jpeg IMG_20181113_171140.jpeg

34door.jpg OK, I have a question for you diecast pros, how do you, or can you straighten the door frame on this 34 that I just picked up. Hope you can see in the pic that it has a twist in it and bent in towards the cab too much. And yes, the roof does/is removable. Don't really want to make it a coupester! Any info will be greatly appreciated.

I think you may have voided your suspension warranty with 3000# of pumpkins in the bed.
