Hot Rods How many hot rods and or customs do you own?

I could use a Chopped Custom if you want to lighten the load

 

Sometimes I wonder if I own them or they own me. HRP

Eight, now. Only two are DDs.

 

Well if you count the classic ones 2. If you count non classic I have to many.

 

I’ve actually only have one, it is my 40 Coupe. All the others would be newer category right? We just pulled them out for a family pic lol.

Dug- My problem is not so much a hoarder problem as it is a storage problem. Just need more "gozintas" !!!

 

As many as my budget will allow..

 

Storage is issue so I got one in the wigwam. Don't want to tie up garage for storage as my OT daily is also a classic so requires work now and then. Note the poly on floor . This is required to keep moisture out as these wigwams are like a greenhouse

 

I recently thinned my small herd from 4 to 3 - my avatar, the 32 5-window that's almost finished and then on to complete my wife's 40 Ford pickup. Don't know if there will be another project but I will continue playing with several flathead builds planned ....

 

Just these. I'm happy having more "done" than garage art projects. The Rivi and the T'bird are both getting close, but they'll be retirement projects for sure.

 

According to the poll, I don't have a problem. Full speed ahead!

1948 Buick Convertible mild custom
1949 Buick Sedanette (driveable but it is the next project on the schedule)
1957 Chevy 2 Dr. Sedan (very nice long distance car)
1986 Chevy C10 (everybody needs a parts runner)
1941 Plymouth business coupe that is finally nearing completion
1964 Catalina coupe (lost interest and am trying to sell)

Since I am now retired, this keeps me busy. Some friend recently said, "You have an expensive hobby!" If I had been on my toes, I would have replied to him, "Yes, but I don't have an oceanfront house at Ocean Isle." (You could also say mountain home, condo, lake home, etc.) My shop is my "vacation home" and I spend a lot of time enjoying it.

 

The older I get the smaller the project!!!

I have two at present, don't plan to get any more.

 

Small block Chevys fit in a shoebox as if Henry II planned it.
