  4. Here are Ryan's HAMB rules!
All I'm asking is if there are new ones, clarify them please!
    "Rules:
    1. No profanity in subject lines.

    2. No political/religious/racial posts at all. No exceptions.

    3. No Porn.

    4. We cover traditional '65 and older American cars only. All other threads will be deleted. We don't cover rat rods, muscle cars, mustangs, or VWs.

    5. No commercial posts.

    ................................

    Guidelines:
    1. If in doubt, don't post it.

    2. Stay on-topic and relevant with your posts; OT posts aren't generally appreciated by our membership.

    3. Gotta easy question? Try using the search function first.

    4. While we don't require "introductions," some members do appreciate them so it might be a good idea for you to do one here. Just introduce yourself and let folks know what you are all about.

    5. As mentioned throughout these guidelines, the H.A.M.B. focuses on TRADITIONAL hot rods and customs. Posts pertaining to traditionally inspired, but not quite period perfect belong on the main forum found here. Please note that we don't focus on things such as modern fuel injected motors, big-inch wheels, frame clips, after market independent suspensions, etc... at all on the H.A.M.B.. As such, posts that stray away from the "traditional inspired" will be deleted.

    6. Posts about period correct hot rods should go here.

    7. Posts about period correct customs should go here.

Hmmmmmm "We cover traditional '65 and older American cars only"

  12. Sure, it had both. While the 2dr sedan was the lowest priced Bel Air and this one is a six cylinder, it has white walls, outside mirror, back up lights and bumper guards.

    Thanks for that support Pat

We're a bit more lucky in NZ than Aust and the UK.
We had a high proportion of USA cars imported RHD from Canada. Whereas Aust and the UK had their local assemblies

The problem is the "Grey Area" which some members get upset over.....The Homebuilt cars and purpose built cars. [Which is very traditional in every sense]

USA homebuilt cars are American............. But what about a NZ built Hotrod or Sprintcar etc [a Non American built copy of an American trend]

    Here is a good example.....
The Late Gus Burke from Christchurch NZ in his homebuilt B/Altered.
    NZ Built Chassis. [NZ]
    Fiat Topolino body [Italy]
    Vauxhall Cresta Engine [UK]
    Wade supercharger [UK]

The only thing USA is the Ford Mainline rear end , and Altereds were a USA class of race car

Thank you for posting the already posted rules and regulations. We already have moderators who do an excellent job and we also have Ryan. Let them make decisions on content and lets just enjoy this thread and site.

  18. Please.
Nobody is "making decisions" for the moderators.
A previous poster said there were no rules about American cars, THAT'S why I posted the rules.
VERY few of you ever read them.
I'm NOT COMPLAINING, jeeesh, just asking for clarification.
FROM RYAN, . NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT!
