Nice. Well that's plenty of meat, surprised you got it all tucked under there. You could get a bit more on the outside and clear the fender probably. That blown big block probably needs all it can get.

You are right about the space. I narrowed the rear that far before ever making the decision to radius the wheel wells. It was a PIA to take the wheel off. Suspension had to be at full drop, still had to tip the wheel down and "unhook" it from the studs.
The Dana 60 will be wider. Don't tell my car, it's a surprise!

Will someone with photoshop skills please fix this photo!
The blue Nova can be left in, the whole Nova preferably but the police would then remove it completely anyway.
Patiently waiting for the 67/earlier cutoff to go into effect, hint, hint.

    Denny,
there are so many photos in this thread (and a lot of others) that have post cut off date cars in the background that it would take a team of photoshoppers to rectify the problem.

Your car is way more of a gasser that a large percentage of the recently built cars in this thread, especially the ones with the 10 spoke front wheels. Add the fact that it has a real engine and driveline as opposed to what is some of the poseurs pretending to be gassers and it gets my vote.

  23. Damn! That's a good looking picture!! Whatcha think Chevy57Dude? I wonder who took that?:D Seriously, it's really good to know that those pix from Jalopyrama are being viewed by folks way across the country and not just on the East Coast. Post away, gasser-a-go-go.

I might not always agree with you back East guys especially when it comes to the 1/8 mile vs.1/4 mile. But at least you guys have a more of a following of people that actually drive, race and use their cars!!!! even though we have better weather here on the West coast it's like murder to get somebody out with their car.

    ^Yes!
Check out the way the rocker panel reveal ridge is so cleanly carried over to the radiused wheel well. Also the single hoop roll bar, and the fact that it's a swooopy hardtop.
