Who do you mean, Mikey? falcongeorge? I wasn't around much for a while. George and I used to talk quite a bit. Did something happen?

This Chevy IRL engine would look at home in a early Nova...

Not sure, but I believe “falcongeorge” was banished from HAMB some time ago...

    I do...

Not really, it was a misunderstanding/glitch and he still is listed as a member, not "banned". KidCampbell71 went through the same glitch here, and he is still here, actively because so many wanted him to be back.

George still is the best there ever was at researching the old little books, etc, and a true diehard traditional supporter.

Sometimes members take a long break when they get tired of seeing the term "traditional police" thrown around here by the Y2K-influenced ''experts" that just don't "get" what the hamb was always meant to be. Get enough of those people who are shit talking stuff they have no clue about, can be a reason to just plain leave.

I hope someday he will return, just like many that took a long break did return. Time will tell. Does anyone know how his rustfree 39 Ford convertible with the early Olds Rocket is coming along? Chime in, if you do.

Hate to say it but George is history, not sure he would come back if invited.
Opinionated yes, but he knew his shit, not sure he knew his audience here though.

Poncho 389 64 down with those nice flat wide valve covers painted Pontiac blue or Big Block Chevy with orange valve covers.

  15. That looks badass.
But it's got no place on the HAMB. 350 HP 327 looks best in an early Nova.

Anyway, I hope George shows up again... He's a pretty cool dude.....

I'm sure I could find a use for the bottom three-quarters of that. The top quarter, not so much.

I like the early V-8 engines dressed up and sporting multi-carbs.

This DeSoto Hemi is going in my Model A roadster. It's certainly the coolest looking, but the best, and second coolest looking had to be the dual Quad 283 in my '34. That was a screamer.
