    Hello,

is there a jear decade to use parts from other cars to build a custom?
Such as building a 40s custom with using car parts from the last and present 10 years.
or can you use any parts for traditionell custom build?

Mercury Charlie gave me some kool advice about building a Traditional Kustom. Try to stay with in three years before or after the year of your project. Try it and have fun researching ideas. The only limit is your imagination.

I was thinking about mounting 55 Chevy lights and was wondering if there was a time period.
Do you know what style of headlight frenching was done in the end 40s?

Until the '52 Ford & Merc were released, the stock ring was normally used to french headlights. The '52 Cad shaded look was also used, but a shade was made of sheet metal welded into the desired contour.
