Hot Rods I need information on this early Ford hubcap.

    Maybe its an old unliscenced repop. Whatever it is I wish I had 4 of them

    Aftermarket hub caps used to abound. Western Auto and other outlets would gave replacement caps that almost looked stock and not be open to copyright law suits. The W instead of a V is a perfect example. There were lots of Ford hubcaps made with script "Bool" instead of Ford. It took a moment or two the focus in and see the difference. Used to see many at swap meets.

    It's the hubcap off of a flying saucer. Thus a saucer cap. The "M" is for Mars. Works for me.
