I picked it up over 15 yrs ago for a Gm 6 cylinder conversion as was the norm for them in Sydney at the time ( a street car that wheel stands is a rarity over here) then the rules changed so I stored it for a latter day, my daughter wants it now so it'll be getting a CA18det conversion when I clear some space in the shed its a real nice body

May I suggest the Conversation option to talk build styles and leave this for photos of old cars etc. Cheers, JW

  6. Here's one that I saw the other day. It may be someone's project. I didn't take the time to ask about it. The wife said, not to drag anymore stray cars home! Lol 20181123_164027.jpeg 20181123_164111.jpeg

  8. Not what you expect to find under a Christmas tree. I guess Santa ain't a car guy, after all.

That’s not a car, so technically you’re good to go.

Good saves Slow Down. If that '53 isn't fixable it'll part out really well, and the bus is neat, could be a great storage shed if not a project to get roadworthy again.

  15. 6 hours from home and it wouldn't fit in the back of my old Suburban. Probably need to be a "night ops" acquisition as well, as the Feds are "funny" about that stuff. They don't want it, but you can't have it, or buy it?

Also what looked like a '40 Ford rear sitting next to the Lincoln...

Ya know, I don't think either one of those will "buff out".

  27. Dang, I had to look pretty closely at the photos to make sure I wasn't seeing the same car from different angles. The similarity in colors and 2-door hardtop body styles is pretty coincidental. Even the way both cars have been destroyed by something falling on top of them is a little unusual.

    A little Twilight Zone-ish.
