Before I moved to AZ, lived in SoCal when Mark and Brian started at KLOS. My two claims to fame are: I won a Mark and Brian bar-b-que brush and one of the girls in the building did the "skin for sky" challenge .

 

You do realize there are 2 Cobra Daytona's in that photo!

Any idea what truck and what trans?

 

Looks like a fire engine. You can see the radio head under the dash. Lots of levers for trans, fire pump, maybe p.t.o. unit. Could be a fire truck with arial ladder too.

 

They had great guests both in person and via phone and did interesting interviews. Some live performances too. It was actually entertaining when doing the morning commute. When they left, it was the end of that sort of thing in SoCal. I don't think I have had FM on since then as I am on XM and no longer commuting as well.

B model Mack with main gearbox and a joey, plus a PTO. Don’t know what the extra lever is unless it has two Joey boxes, ( which I doubt). Could also be a fire tender as someone else has stated, which does make sense.
