Mark Does this analogy sound right? Just because you own a welder..........doesn't meen you are a weldor!
I pointed you in their direction....unleash your rath....they will give you plenty of opportunity to lay down the law on Gasser Rules...
Gasser? Not a gasser? I’m no expert but I do know this....it’s not the era I come on the H.A.M.B. for. Sorry, the snorkel and tubbed rear are no go for me. Hopefully that doesn’t offend anyone.....technically it’s the H.A.M.B. so it shouldn’t. [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
This car is actually the Indy Runner-up Jr. Stocker of Tom Neja, from Costa Mesa, Ca. It's been in Kentucky for a long time now. This owner is running in some kind of Geezer Gasser index class with it. I wonder if it's even a stick shift. I think not. I see the A-1 sticker now.
It looked like an “updated” jr stocker but I wasn’t for sure. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
As always I am impressed with what the guys down under are doing! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Ok....try this again..no letters on any windows...but Tri Five, Cali Black Plate, vintage rims, fender well headers, looks like a vintage gasser to me...or some hipster playing with Instagram filters...the jury’s out on this one..
I don't know. Lots to chew on here. I don't think it's a 60's tribute or street and strip from then . The early Stahl type fenderwell headers didn't have street flanges. Also looks like Cherry Bomb mufflers. I don't think it's an x- gasser either. Can't see anyone putting all the emblems back on, plus the original type radio antenna, also full bumpers with guards ? Might be getting snookered here, but I'm going with early 70's gasser tribute street machine...for now. Coulda been worse and ended up as a Street Freak.
Better not hear any bitchin about this one...it’s a gasser...it’s says so on the door for piss sake...magnesium mags...it’s an actual vintage picture...better be crickets on this post!
Chirp Chirp..or what ever sound them crickets make.... To many critics out their. IMO, any tri-five that runs@ the drags is a winner in my book, straight axle or not. Especially if it's mid 60's vintage! Keep them pics a comin' Sent from my SM-N910V using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Looks like he stole the shroud from a air cond to fab the hood scoop! And the curtain rods from the shower to make the grill
I really like the orange/red 55. Looks like they took the halibrands off and are running 5 spokes now. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Absolutely no question what this thing is,...is there? But it's okay ..quickie laid claim to this thread and says it's just fine.
Ok...so it’s a modern “gasser” running against other modern class cars..so technically not a “gasser”.....but I’d like to see you call it something else....
LB, you posted a photo of this car and it sure looked familiar to me. Here it is at Rt 66 Raceway in Joliet, Illinois, 2008.
