It's a ton of fun. Big block 4 spd car with some fibreglass bits so it's pretty light and hectic. Not at all practical and with the heads I have on it it's either wide open or idling, but I have the '50 for the go-easy days.
Sweet! Even though i've been a chevy guy my whole life i have always loved the 60's factory racers and muscle car builds. coronets, polaras, falcons, any of the factory light weight builds. Big fat nasty cams, skinny little tires and only built to go straight!!
Throw me on the roll call for Deuce Days, as a spectator. My sister lives in Sooke, so my accommodation is looked after. I'm gonna try and hit the Osoyoos show this year as well, and get a visit in with my Mom. If things go well, both of these trips will get done in the Pontiac, or my Dart wagon. I can sleep in the wagon, but it might be apart come June.
Good man!! So much better than almost any mag I am seeing otherwise except maybe the rodders journal but you can’t really call RJ a magazine anymore.
