The 56 Buicks are so Kool ......my total favorite is probably the 53 Super I had one years back ..well my 48 2dr. Torpedo Buick was really....and the 52 super both Kool ...as was the 27 Buick sedan I just recently sold....what can I say ... I like old Buicks wish I still had them all..there was more..including a 67 Buick GS 455 4spd. was originally a 400...then there was The 56 Special " The Panty Dropper"I showed it and hit every Cruzin and other events including publicity stunts that I could make it to for about five years....after these pics were taken the car got a complete T&R upholstered trunk , under hood covers , front fender wells plus everything that I could unbolt under the hood got chromed and the engine got detailed chromed out and topped off with a completely polished log intake with six polished 97's in fact one year was getting all ready for the Roadster show and I contacted the guy that was doing the manifold and setting up the carbs he was so close to the set up time in getting it ready I ended up by stoping by his shop and picking up the completed intake set up and continuing to the show ,driving the car , once at the show and I got my spot I then proceeded to swap out the the intake....and was all done by the time the show started....and to top that off a while later I was looking through my new Rod Action or one of them...and there was a article by Al Drake on the Roadster show and couldn't believe what I saw... A nice half or quarter page , in color, complete side shot picture of the Buick and right in front of the car....my fat ass bent over working on the intake preparing it to install..... I have lost track of the magazine threw the years and I can't remember for sure what one it was... I have talked to Al Drake about it and have never narrowed it down ....so if you see one I would like to buy it .... I believe if was 84-5 right in there close ..Portland Roadster show.....sorry for the crappy pics...it wasn't this show if was a couple years later?
    Thanks. .....Terry (Rudestude) IMG_20190124_212107_1~2.jpeg IMG_20190124_212144_1~2.jpeg

The guy with the green Mopar Ranchero did have a stable with some pretty nice customs. Still does? He might of been the owner.

[IMG] We got the Camaro sub frame to low in my friend's '50 Chevy truck so radiused the front fender wells round ( like back ). Hey, we were kids.....
Next owner took 1/2 inch out between grille bars, and trimmed lower front fender..

I really like it, Wish we would have thought of it, looks sooooo good. And so subtle

Oops sorry ... I thought it was the second car in the post that was just ahead of it...the Olds.. which is the second car ... I didn't see that he said Buick..that dark blue print is difficult for me to see........ I got to stumble on something occasionally....the last thing I want is to be perfect......that's boring......

Amazing '55 'Bird, with '57 368 Lincoln mill; finished in 1961, and purchased in 2012 with 4700 miles, and till wearing the hand-rubbed lacquer paint job!
