Thanks moose, do you have any other ideas for wheels to try? How about some chrome caps on the black wheels. Thanks again, this thread is awesome.

Some vintage 15 inch slots would look good on your car, Not too shiney to match the look of the car.
    Rear narrowed?

^^^^^^Yes, mini tubs. The wheels on the back now are 20x12 and I think I want to go at least 18's with a little taller tire. I like those slots.

What’s a good color that’ll contrast nicely with the wheels ?

Hi guys, We are making some fairly slow progress on the 34 Chev. New forged I Beam front end and hairpins are fitted and its sitting right. 15*5s imitation Halibrands on the front and have some imitation 15*10s for the back with 285/75/15s on the back so front tyres are about 25 tall and the rears are pushing 31 tall. Tyres arent whitewalls, but I do have a new set sitting in my storage area in case I return to that look.

Rear door has been cut and body guy is working his magic to make the rear door look almost factory.

Im thinking about colour again and have been talking to my paint guy mate and havent decided between a dark purple or Kawasaki Green. Other choice was Pagan Gold, but Im not too sure it will work without whitewalls.

Any chance you guys can change the colour that were done for me previously?

    Many thanks
    Todd

Can anyone of you clever guys stick some fender skirts and a white metal flake roof on my 51 Chev? The roof color would be from the top of the A posts and down the C posts to the waistline.
I would also like to see what she looks like on some Astro supremes[emoji41]

I’m going ahead with the roof paint and skirts but will probably keep her un-chopped.
    Anybody got any other suggestions?
    Thanks for helping out[emoji106]

The white version with the green wheels looks nice. That's really the only color combo I like out of all that were tried. Needs the caps too.
