I had to clear the lift. I'm parting company with my Camaro after a dozen years and she has been up in the air. Not an easy decision to make trust me. She owned the lift for the last few weeks but is now on consignment "at a farm up north".

Now it's hot rod time. Finish the 34 for the Roadster show and start playing with the truck.

Looking very tight! I'm not a golfer but you did a nice job of planning!

I like to think my car is "up to par". May be a good name for her.

While the pictures looked great, I thought the car looked a lot better in person. Something about being able to stand back and see the whole car and how the proportions fit together. Great job.

The car is impressive. I probably spent more time looking it over than any other car in the show.

Now that is quite the compliment considering the competition for your time. Thanks!

Thank you. I took a second place behind a big dollar street rod but I didn't build it to win trophies, I built it to drive and that is her job now.

I thought about it! I did have pictures nearby showing the clubs do fit in there. After all, it was one of the original design necessities.

  15. Congrats Billy on the 2nd place. Is that like 2 under par?

  16. More like 2 over par. :D

Gosh, Bandit! You're more compulsive about
    1. Wiring
    2. Engineering
    3. Polishing
than I am. That's saying something, probably something that needs to go unsaid...
Absolutely a stunning machine. And it works!

Thank you! What a wonderful compliment.

I don't believe in half ass when it comes to building cars. I choose not to respond to threads on here where guys are asking what is the cheapest electrical system or the least expensive suspension or frame components. I wouldn't know and I wouldn't be interested. Thanks for noticing.

The car is beautiful that goes without saying! But the piston and rod stands are damn cool!
    Congrats on the award! Joe

Some I took with my camera on Saturday. The color may be slightly off as I had to lighten them up a bit. IMG_2423 (2).JPG IMG_2422 (2).JPG IMG_2421 (3).JPG IMG_2420 (2).JPG IMG_2419 (2).JPG

Looked nice indoors at the roadster show but looks much better on the street. No rain today so I drove her to work.
Still working out a few bugs but what a rush to drive.

I have managed to foul the plugs already. Probably due to driving like an old lady.
Drive 'em if you got "em!
