New thread notification

I am getting notified whenever someone starts a new thread. I went in the "alert preferences" and don't even see it as an option. What gives? I haven't changed anything lately so I don't think it was self inflicted. @Ryan ???

 

At the right hand top of this page, just above the blue ALLIANCE banner, look for the "head and shoulders" icon and click on it. Then drop down and click where it says alerts. Go to the left side of the screen that opens to where it says "Your Account", drop down a few lines click where it says "Watched Forums". This will tell you if you might have accidentally opted-in to receive notices for an entire forum instead of just a particular thread.

There's some other interesting and probably little-known features on this page that might also be worth investigating.

 

Thanks @ClayMart I have no idea how that happened but it seems to have cleared up the issue. I was watching the entire forum for new threads. No more drinking and HAMBing.......haha who am I kidding.
