That is a great song, not many Doo Wop artists survived the transition to Rock n Roll. I don't think Dion has ever made a bad song.

 

Great song! Dion has some of the greatest AMERICAN R&R, doo-wop music. Here's one of his that is among my most favorites:

 

And he's still going strong, here's a newer one he does with Paul Simon.

I like that alot. It's a color most people would cringe at but it works very well with this car.

 

Little piece of trivia,my Dad worked for Midway Chevrolet in St.Paul until 1961 it was walking distance to the Prom Ballroom which hosted some great Rock N Roll shows back then I saw Dion and the Bellmonts twice and the last time when they were with Richie Valens, The Big Bopper and Buddy Holley just days before "The Day the Music Died" happened heard the news driving back in a snow storm on Dad's AM radio.

 

not sure about the 54 grille but certainly far from ugly.
