    Mercurys of that vintage had a 5" on 5" lug pattern, possibly Mercury gear.

    241 cu in Dodge Red Ram hemi? The 331-392's would have been too many cubes and especially too heavy for the car.

  30. The car might be a Mercedes - seriously expensive at the time.
