Did you actually see this one? Does the puffed out part of the fender go all the way back and unto the door? Or does just the paint make it look that way.

The factory fender line does taper about halfway into the door. You can see it in this photo: I think that's what you are seeing in the other photo.

I saw this photo of Don Sparks '57 Ranchero on the "Traditional Mild Customs of the 1950s and 1960s" page on Facebook.
