Here's one of the prettiest flatheads you'll ever see. And it sounds as good as it looks!!

  2. This is the way the blower, injector,& scoop will stay,,,for awhile.
Only the scoop will be polished & chromed later, but the injector, blower, front cover, pump extension will remain raw.
    Extreme ghetto mock up!

    One more,,,

    And last one,,,
ultimatley, the block will be yellow & the heads & oil pan black.

Holy shit those Arduns are incredible. I love that chain-drive blower too. I wonder how well that works out?

Does anyone have any more pictures of crank-driven supercharger setups?

This is a factory Duesenberg setup but I always thought it was pretty wild.

1960's-70's Lucas sequential mechanical fuel injection setup as used on English Triumph TR6 etc. I don't think it made it onto the US export TR6, I've never seen one advertised in the US with it on. A bit tricky to setup right, but works well when driven by someone who likes to keep their foot in it a bit, and looks great!

    Cheers, Glen.

Not to be forgotten, Pontiac X-400 built with Micky Thompson for Bill Mitchell, Then Vice president of General motors design staff.

I have the original casting molds for this intake and hope to case reproductions soon.

One of the best running exotic set-ups I've ever seen, heard, or felt.
Tuned to perfection by Racer-X, this one is more than just for lookin at.

    this is an old thread!

cool to see who was here and what they were playing with

'picked up this WEIAND 4x2 top for the 4-71 and set a quartet of 97s on it to see what it'd look like, just might have to try it out one day, maybe in another seven years I can post a clip of it running 'em :)

  25. Ok I haven't played in this thread.

Not nearly as exotic as others in this thread, but I guess they count as traditional if you consider the era from 60-64 traditional. Anyway they make my old heart go pitter pat.

I have cleaned them up since this pic was shot. Getting ready to mate a couple of carbs to them.
