Going to be switching out the trans for a T5. Deciding if I want to go to buckets or not. If you have put bucket seats in, what are they from and how do they look? Thanks!

I installed a set from a '68 Galaxie XL. The profile is close to the original bench seat, but better. I was able to match the existing fabric through LeBaron Bonney, but that's not really an option anymore. At some point I want to install a console, but pickings are slim around here.

Buckets were in my '56 when I got it in 1968, I think they are early/mid 60s mid size GM - Chevelle, Tempest, Cutlass. . . Console is early 60s Falcon or Comet

It's funny how few pictures I have of my interior.
My 56 came with stock seats, here's a picture while it was getting body work done so please don't mind the dust.

It now has seats from a 97 Lincoln Mark VIII. Very comfy but I never changed them to white.

I'm having the interior redone and will use 2002 Sebring convertible seats with built in shoulder harnesses. Everything will match and I'll post pictures when it's done.

Personally, I prefer the original bench seat.

Works fine with the 5 speed transmission. HRP

Not what most would want, but I like them. Super comfortable, and believe it or not I sleep in my car on many roadtrips, the reason I wanted hi-backs. The seats go all the was back. 93 Mitsubishi Eclipse.[IMG]

I think these are from a 65 or 66 mustang or some similarly sized Ford Pony or intermediate car...

I have these in my "project" Victoria that was somebody's idea of how to hot rod a car. Cut a big hole in the floor with a torch and stick a 3 speed on the floor and the bench got eaten by mice so they found these which seems to me look like '65 Impala ish???? I would use but would like a little more bolster support. vickyinterior.jpg

Sorry...I was replying to the original post of the song, saying "Classic jam" as in "I like this song, it is a good one."

I agree with "CAKE". Song is not so great, but the content is right on ! My wife & I are keeping the bench seat.
