Finally got draglink installed, and front end aligned.

 

You going to leave the backing plates silver? They look pretty good like that.

 

Yeah , there hammertone finish. I bought the paint for the fuel tank I’m going to use. And tried it out on a backing plate and liked it, when they were black you couldn’t see the holes very well.

 

Nah she did it to keep out of the house. Haha

Machined this bushing set up for master cylinder so I could use F1 pin. Next thing is to fab clutch pedal tab to be welded on bottom side of clutch pedal for clutch engagement rod.

 

Getting motor mounts ready, picking up a light weight dummy motor tomorrow from my bud.

 

Are you going to Denton with it?

 

Probably want be ready for PISTONS and PAINT.

 

Your mounts look really nice just like they grew there. Is the Hurricane going to affect you?

 

The mounts I found at Lone Star Roundup, RJays speed shop, but didn’t buy till Pate. I’m 65 miles south of Dallas, hope no effects from hurricane. Tomorrow I hope to extract the motor and trans from the donor vehicle.
