With FC currently holding a higher speed record than TF and weighing 2575# vs. 2300# it may be time to bring back the streamliners.
Its not streamlining--its air management. Top speed does not win races-- ET wins races unless its on a hole shot and TF is still quicker then FC
Here's pic's of the Galt Strokers original streamliner dragster from about 1957 & 1958. I'm in the middle of restoring the original dragster which I found about 6 years back sitting a field for over 50 years. I'm hoping to have her fired up this summer......it's actually the oldest surviving streamliner designed dragster in Canada.
