  1. Ha ha. Oh how thin skinned we're getting. On the '57 Chrysler thread, the OP was asking for wheel opinions. Being the sarcastic a-hole I am, I posted a pic of a 24" ghetto wheel and said it might look cool. Well, of course a few guys thought I might be serious and made (humorous) comments. So, being the A-hole that I am, I posted a little pic of D. Trump saying he was only kidding. Naturally, the pic of the wheel was deleted because it's "off topic". Then the pic of Trump was deleted because it it "too political". Oddly enough, one poster's comment on the wheel "Jesus wept" (funny) was not deleted even though it is obviously quoted scripture from the Bible ("too religious") and is clearly an attempt by the poster to convert everyone. (More sarcasm on my part). This is only a rant on how soft we have gotten. I don't care if my stuff gets deleted (this probably will too) but really, can't we lighten up just a tad?

I smell what you are cookin, it seems you can't make any kind of wise assed remark or comment without some one getting pissed off or their sensitive feelings hurt. I also agree that political and religious post do not belong here but come on guys, you have know when some one is just making a funny! Put me down as a "fuck'em if they can't take a joke kind of guy" and yes I am told that my wit and sarcasm are not appreciated by some but that's life.
OK, back to the old car stuff:D

Sarcasm is subtle and often misunderstood. If you have to put sarcasm brackets around it, you've lost. I was the guy with the Jesus comment. I'm a believer but not religious so no converting by me to any belief system. Just trying to be humorous as well and no hard feelings here for the deletion.

Nothing wrong with a little humor from time to time but always try and use the emojis to emphasis you are joking, without it no one knows in black & white type. HRP

I would appreciate it if you guys look at the big picture.

If we let a few guys get away with a few sarcastic comments that includes a political or religious comment then it gives the green light for a 1000 other guys to do the same.

Then the complaints come rolling in because someone didn’t like your brand of politics or religion.

Politics and religion are personal so let’s leave it that way.

    It works best .... rules

    No Politics
    No Religion

    Thanks.

I am the one that deleted the billet wheel pic. I have zero tolerance for large diameter wheels and they belong nowhere near a traditional hot rod forum, joke or not
