    Danny,
Have Moose Photoshop some different styles on your wagon. Hes unbelievable in how meticulous he is.
They will look like you've really changed them.

no need for wheels and tires, simply put on a set of 53-55 olds fiesta wheel covers

Funny you would mention full hub caps Mark, I just happen to have a set of 4 Cadillac Sombreros that I bought probably 30 years ago. HRP

You guys are right, I haven't been given a green light and I'm just thinking out loud, but when we were building the car Brenda wanted blackwall tires but I talked her into the whitewalls but she told me at the time it was going to be my job to keep them clean and I have kept my end of the bargain.

At the time she also mentioned using the original Keystone Mags that we on my Falcon in the early 60's but they were 14" and with the upgrade disc brakes they wouldn't work. HRP

The fun of it is that if you do have a second set of wheels and tires you can swap them out reasonably quickly and it gets a different at***ude I've seen a couple of rods here in the PNW that may have several sets of wheels in the garage depending on the event they go to and or the mood of the owner for that weekend. You see photos of one with steelies an bias tires when it shows up at Billetproof and then it has billet wheels and radials when it shows up over here at Vintiques.
I remember around 1966/67 a couple of guys I knew who were best friends both had 66 Chevelle SS 396's that were different colors. One had Cragers on his and the other had slots on his. Sometimes they swapped p***enger side wheels and would mess with a few minds when cruising by in one direction or the other.

    Really?
    My post deleted?
Someone needs to ease up a bit.
If aluminum wheels offend so bad then just delete those images.
No wonder I gave up build threads...
Or at least have the decency to pm me about it like you moderators suggested I do.

I actually have a brand new set of Bob Drake trim rings still in the box that I purchased at the same time I bought the hub caps but liked the simple understated look at the time and knew once they were installed I would scratch the paint on the rims and there would be no going back. HRP

What about the full stock style wheel covers. 52 Ford full covers might look nice also.

I agree with the Torque Thrusts but they are my favorite wheel. I had chrome wheels on my mild custom T-Bird and ran Torque Thrusts part of the time, changes the character of the car. I also think it would look good with the Olds Fiestas .
