I just finished watching the 1984 movie "Streets of Fire". I find it hard to fathom that
there seems to be only one decent photo of Tom Cody's (Michael Pare') stolen Merc
ragtop on Google:

Thanks Sancho. I saw those but picked the one I thought was best. I saw a bit of a debate
on another site on whether this might also be the Merc from "Grease". Also, some guys
believe that it went the whole kustom route and others feel other than the windshield chop,
grille opening and tail lights the car is basically stock. Just like a crime scene, people see things
differently.

I`ve seen the clone at least at 40 different shows. But it was breathtaking to see the original for the first time at the Peterson Museum this past Tuesday.
