Looks like Great Britain. So the Anglia front end seems right. Looks like a stock fladhead Cad. Probably not really all that fast.
No, mine is the 346, the smaller motor went in the LaSalle. Mine is a '37 and the later heads had a rib or two running across like the one in this car ( the older ones were just flat) but I don't think they said Cadillac Motor or had the cylinder number cast into it. I'm thinking they are some type of high performance head.
I see my avatar in the background . I believe thats mid 1960s at Riverside dragstrip, Fishermans Bend. Victoria, Australia.
Top of second photo says Voda NZ as in Vodafone New Zealand Matamata racing club is a horse racing club in New Zealand Car is likely from same area
Kiwiville........the white car with the guy sitting on its front wing, mudguard or fender behind the barrels is an early 60's 105E Anglia.........
Anglia is obvious with it,s rear window. Think he means this one. More visible on a PC . 1965 HD model Holden. Grlle emblem is visible.
Matamata is a small town not far from Hamilton in New Zealand, spent a couple of years there. Lots of folks with Benzin in the blood there Sent from my iPad using H.A.M.B.
This is a 1960s New Zealand dragster.I think the track surface was made of ashes located in Wiri near Auckland.I don't know of much more on the finer details on this dragster other than ready recognising the hillbilly name and seeing photos of this in early publications which I no longer have in my posession.Time for some of the NZ kiwis to fill in the finer details Sent from my Lenovo TB-X304F using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
The heads look like the ones from a tank motor, there were lots of them left after WW2,the tanks had 2 in them. The motors were plentiful after the war, they are still popping up for sale Harvey

The old simple laid back kiwi way of racing in the 60s , we tend to forget how relaxed it really was. Ahh what memories are made of.
Car still exists. I'm a little embarr***ed I cant tell you more about this iconic Kiwi dragster. I'm sure another Kiwi Hamber will be along soon enough.
